There Goes My Hero

Save lives. Provide hope. Help those affected by blood cancer. There Goes My Hero’s primary purpose is simple: to help those with blood cancer. One way we do so is by hosting bone marrow drives to register donors. Bone marrow donation is one of the single most effective ways to provide treatment for and sometimes cure blood cancers. One of our goals is to register enough donors to provide a match for any patient who needs one. We secure donations from businesses and individual benefactors to help us fund drives and expand patient services and education, provide materials, and maintain our programs. We reach out to all sorts of settings-- such as businesses, community centers, and places of worship-- to see if they would be willing to host a bone marrow drive. We often host drives in memory of someone who had blood cancer. We also host drives in honor of people who need an immediate match.
