Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Of Service - Community Clean Up
Since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday became a holiday in 1983, many have taken this day as a day of service. Project PLASE will be holding a day of service to acknowledge all that he did for civil rights during his lifetime, and all of the steps which still need to be taken for racial equity and civil rights.
From 9am to noon we will be going around our neighborhood and cleaning up the area for our community members.
We would love for as many volunteers to come out and help as possible. This is a great opportunity for groups and individuals who want to acknowledge Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day. We will be handing out free Project PLASE t-shirts to all who come out an help! Come have fun with us while making our neighborhood squeaky clean!
If you are interested in attending this event or have any questions, please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Rachel, at (410)837-1400 x128 or rcatalano@projectplase.org.
